The Silver Queen Gondola is the main transportation on Aspen Mountain that runs in the summer and winter taking passengers from Gondola Plaza in Downtown Aspen to the top of Aspen Mountain and the Sundeck. Aspen Mountainās Silver Queen Gondola opened in 1987, the longest single-stage gondola in the world, on the 40th anniversary of Aspen Skiing Company.
