Welcome to ACES at Rock Bottom Ranch
At Rock Bottom Ranch we are inspired and guided by nature, balancing the wild and the agricultural to enrich lives and land.

Rock Bottom Ranch, a working ranch and educational farm, is 113 acres where natural ecosystems coexist with sustainable agricultural production.

About ACES
Since 1968 Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) has been meeting its mission, “To inspire a life-long commitment to the Earth by educating for environmental responsibility, conserving and restoring the balance of natural communities, and advancing the ethic that the Earth must be respected and nurtured.”

We welcome you to explore our trail system and outdoor classrooms. Please check in at the Field Studies Center where ACES staff is available to answer questions.
