Whitehouse Mountain and the old tree on Legend of Tall Tree Trail
Marble, CO – Hard – 0.30 Miles – Hike – Rocky/Dirt
The Legend of Tall Tree Trail is a difficult unmarked trail you can hike. This is a short tough climb up a part of Sheep Mountain to the northeast of Lizard Lake just outside of Marble, CO.
To get to the trail, as you come up to the Lizard Lake sign take a left. Follow the path up (there is another spot down closer by the lake that has a couple benches if you follow the path straight) to a small flat spot where the trail begins to wind up the mountain by the tree.
