Lizard Lake sits between Sheep Mountain to the northeast and Hat Mountain to the southwest, with stunning views of Whitehouse Mountain in the distance to the southeast. This is a lake near Marble, CO.

I fished in it the other day and caught a few Cutthroats. Fishing guides have told me there are huge trout in the deep water, A guide told me nobody knows how deep it is. It’s a volcanic tunnel. He said it’s at least 200 feet deep. 🙀🤠
I’m taking a special trip just to fish here from Arizona. Any tips on what to use or where the best bite was?
