The Roaring Fork Valley is a large area with varying elevations, numerous seasons, and weather can change quickly in the mountains. Check trail conditions and know before you go. Better informed trail users, means better prepared people, and better protected trails that aren’t in hiking, running, or riding shape. Be awesome, share info, and help protect these trails by letting others know what it’s like out there.

The Hanging Lake Trail is still very icy and rough. Be careful!
Colorow Trail in New Castle is dry and a great spring run/ride.
Perham Creek Trail is dry for the first 1.5 miles.
Storm King Fourteen Memorial Trail is mostly dry, very minor mud sections.
Lower section of Scout Trail is good, but muddy and snow in the meadow and beyond.
Red Hill is completely dry. ENJOY!
Wulfsohn Mountain Park trails are in good shape with only minor mud
Prince Creek is still muddy
Arbaney Kittle is a muddy, icy, snowy mess to the Frying Pan Overlook.
Red Hill Update – Faerie Trail and Skeeter’s Ridge Trail are muddy, still some snow out there.
