Johnson Creek Trail #2184 is an intermediate/moderate trail you can hike, run, mountain bike and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 2 mile dirt trail that can be used to get to Margy’s Hut near Lenado, CO.
To get to the trailhead from Woody Creek, travel on Upper River Road and turn onto Woody Creek Road (CR #18). Follow the road for 8.75 miles past the town of Lenado. You will cross a bridge over Woody Creek where road turns into Larkspur Mountain Road (FSR #103). In 1 mile the trailhead will be on your right just before an info kiosk up ahead.
