To get to the trailhead from Carbondale, access the parking area north of the traffic light at the intersection of Highway 133 and Highway 82. Follow Red Hill Road (CR 107) up 0.25 miles to Red Hill on the left. Take Three Poles Trail on the left 0.3 miles to the marked Mushroom Rock Trailhead that veers to the left.
