The snow packed trail to Highland Bowl in Aspen

    Aspen, CO – Hard – 0.75 Miles – Hike, Snowshoe – Snow

    Highland Bowl Trail is a difficult trail you can hike and snowshoe to Highland Peak (12,392 ft) and ski down to the Deep Temerity Lift. At times, there is a free snowcat that will take hikers the first 0.35 miles up the trail to the Highland Bowl Main Gate. A ski strap to hold your skis on your back can be purchased for $10 at the Aspen Highlands Ski Patrol Station at the top of the Loge Peak Lift. This is a 0.75 mile uphill trail on Aspen Highlands Mountain in Aspen, CO.

    Brutal hike, but my boys kept me going. Thankful for Vislusker and Walky for keeping our pace up. Godspeed fellas.
