This is one of our most popular parks used by the locals and their kids. On any given day you will find people in this park. The beginning of the 40 Mile Rio Grande Trail starts in Herron Park. This park is also adjacent to the Roaring Fork River, which attracts people and dogs of all ages to come play in the river. The large open lawn and playground is a very attractive spot to come play and enjoy your day.”
