Bowers Gulch Trail is an intermediate/moderate trail you can hike, run, and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 2.5 mile dirt trail in Basalt, CO.

To get to the trailhead from El Jebel, follow El Jebel Road up through Missouri Heights. Past Spring Reservoir, head straight to Basalt Mountain Road (FSR #524). 2 miles past the gate there is a parking area to the right and a road to the left, take the road going left Upper Cattle Creek Road (FSR #509). Down the road 0.75 miles there is a sharp turn off to the left near an old cabin that is the start of the Bowers Gulch Trail.
