NOTE: The Roaring Fork Valley has a wide range of altitudes and different areas experience different temperatures and lengths of Winter. Unless there is a seasonal closure, there’s nothing to limit you from enjoying any trail during the Winter months. Some trails are used more than others year-round and have better paths through the snow. During the Winter, there are also nordic specific trails that are groomed when the conditions are right. Knowing the conditions of the trail can radically effect your adventure.
