The Shakespeare Swing hanging in the Valentine’s Shrine on Aspen Mountain

Aspen, CO – Shrine

The Valentine’s Shrine, also called the Shakespeare Shrine or Shakespeare Swing, contains a two person wooden swing hung in the air by cables. Carved into the swing is a quote from William Shakespeare which reads: “The course of true love never did run smooth.” The shrine is located near Walsh’s on Aspen Mountain.
