Tagert Hut is a shelter that sleeps seven and is part of the Alfred A. Braun Hut System available for reservations through the 10th Mountain Division Hut Association. The hut is named for stage driver Billy Tagert who drove pioneers, miners, and freight over Taylor Pass in the late 1800s. This hut is 50 yards from the Green-Wilson Hut and open Thanksgiving through the end of May.
