Linkins Lake Trail #1979 is a difficult trail you can hike, run and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 0.6 mile trail in the Hunter-Fryingpan Wilderness near Aspen, CO.

To get to the trailhead from Aspen, travel 16 miles up Independence Pass Road. The trailhead parking area is on the left. This is also the trailhead for the upper section of the Lost Man Trail. In 200 yards the trail forks, take the left to Linkins Lake (the right goes to Lost Man Trail).
