Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park

The play wave at the Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park

Glenwood Springs, CO – Whitewater Park

The Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park is a recreational area with water features in the Colorado River. The site’s main feature is a standing wave, also known as a G-wave. Other features include a hole on river left, a smaller standing wave on river right and learning pools for practicing skills. At high water levels the feature blends to form one wide wave. Paddlers may use the area at their own risk. Helmets and personal floatation devices are required. The park is open year round due to unique river flows.
