West Snowmass Trail is a difficult trail you can hike, run, and horseback ride that is dog friendly. This is a 7 mile dirt trail in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness near Snowmass, CO.

To get to the trailhead, start on the Maroon-Snowmass Trail. You will cross two gates along the way. Shortly after the second gate, take the right turn for the West Snowmass Trail. The trailhead sign is 1.5 miles from the Maroon-Snowmass Trail parking area.
