The Tiehack Uphill Route is a difficult route you can skin and snowshoe up. This is a 1.75 mile uphill route on Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, CO.
There is no downloading on the Tiehack Express Lift. An alternate route back to the Tiehack parking area if you do not want to hike down is to download on the Summit Express Lift and take the Highlands Shuttle to the Aspen Recreation Center. From the Aspen Recreation Center you can walk across the Terral Wade Bridge back to the base of Tiehack.
