Glenwood Springs, Colorado (5,761 ft) is the largest city in the Roaring Fork Valley. The city sits along the Colorado River and is home to hot springs, caverns, and a ski resort. From Denver you can travel west on Interstate 70, through the Glenwood Canyon, to Highway 82 and the gateway to the Roaring Fork Valley. There are a lot of hiking and biking trails. We made a list.
